When selecting a diamond, its important to know what shape of Diamond you are looking for and what best suits your style.

Secondly, the quality of the diamond is important, the higher the grade the more expensive the diamond is going to be.

Internally Flawless (IF) Diamonds have no inclusions and minor blemishes under 10x power microscope

Very Very Slightly Included (VVS) Diamonds have small inclusions that are not visible to the naked eye and difficult for a skilled grader to see under 10x magnification.

Slightly Included (SI) diamonds contain noticeable inclusions which are easy (SI1) and very easy (SI2) to see under 10X magnification. Some SI’s  inclusions can be seen with the naked eye, in SI2. SI is a popular clarity grade range as it gives a good balance between price and quality.              SI3 graded diamonds have  inclusions that can be seen with the naked eye without magnification.

Included Diamonds Included (I1-I2) Many inclusions that are very visible to the naked eye (I1), very visible (I2), obvious (I3) you can see the inclusions without magnification. Included diamonds in this grade may effect durability. I2 and I3 diamonds have inclusions that can seriously affect the diamonds potential durability and are so numerous they affect transparency and brilliance of the diamond.
